Sharjah Police has called upon public to use the 'Najeed' (perfect) services to report threatening crimes or any suspicious activity that they think might affect the security and safety of their community.

With this service, the public can contact the police about any criminal activity or any type of illegal activities through the service without the fear of repercussions as their identity and the nature of the tipoff would not be divulged.

For instance, the victims of assault can now call the police secretly for help. It will also exempt the caller from any criminal responsibility.

The service was launched in 2011, and is a foolproof safe and secure communication service between the public and the police.

The service is aimed at encouraging neighbourhood watch-kind of spirit among individuals, making them responsible for their own safety and that of others.

Public can call 800151 or send a text message to 7999 or call landline at 065529000 or email it to najeed@shjpolice.gov.ae

The people can also visit the website www.shjpolice.gov.ae/najeed.
