New camera for right-turn violations in Fujairah
Fujairah - Jumping the red light will also attract a penalty of 12 traffic points, and the vehicle may be impounded for one month.
The camera has been put up at the intersection of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Road and the exit leading to the cargo section of the airport.
The Fujairah Police added on their official Instagram account that the exit, marked 'private access', leads only to the airport.
Any vehicle that jumps the red traffic light would be fined Dh1,000 and 12 traffic points, and the vehicle would be seized for one month.
The police has urged all motorists to follow traffic rules and drive with caution.
