Jewellery Arabia 2015 opens

The five-day show features high-end international brands, independent designers, retailers and manufacturers from across the globe and national groups from leading jewellery export countries.

Under the patronage of Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Jewellery Arabia 2015, the Middle East's premier jewellery and watch exhibition, was inaugurated at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC) on Tuesday. The 24th exhibition in this prestigious annual series runs until November 28.
Over 600 exhibitors from 30 nations will showcase their precious wares across an area of 21,000 square metres at the venue, which includes specially commissioned temporary halls. On sale will be a dazzling range of finished jewellery, luxury timepieces, precious stones, antiques, jewellery packaging and technology from around the globe.

They include delegations from Hong Kong, India, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.

Dr Al Biyari's visit was complemented by a special gathering hosted for VIVA employees to celebrate the milestones achieved to date. At the staff event, Dr Al Biyari highlighted the way in which VIVA has positively impacted the telecommunications market and has been at the forefront of technology innovation.
