One of the largest educational institution in the Gulf region, the Indian School Muscat, is increasing the tuition fee for its students this year.
According to the Times of Oman, the fees has been increased by OMR2 (Dh19.08) per month.
"The Board of Directors has approved the proposal from the school management committee, seeking an increase of OMR2 per month in the tuition fee of students from Standards I to XII for the academic year 2018-2019. The additional revenue generated from the fee increase would be utilised mainly towards the long-awaited restructuring of the staff's salary in the new session,"Dr Rajeev Kumar Chauhan, Principal of ISM, said in a circular issued by the school.
