On this proud occasion, Bank of Baroda dedicates three special products to its customers Baroda Happiness Twin Account, Rapid Funds to India through (ATM & Internet Banking) & Baroda Premium Current Account.
Baroda Happiness Twin Account is a bundle of two products offered to salary earners in the UAE, primarily Indians. Under the offer who-so-ever opens salary account with Bank of Baroda, it's special NRE account is also opened simultaneously. This bundle offer comes with lots of benefits like inbuilt overdraft facility, concessional retail loans, no hidden charges and free Internet banking, mobile banking etc. Also, the Bank offers free remittance to India from the UAE account to Indian account at attractive exchange rates.
Rapid Funds to India (via ATM & Internet Banking) is again an innovative product wherein customers can send money to India as per their convenience and comfort using Bank of Baroda's ATM or Internet Banking. Under the scheme, remittance is totally free of cost and to add to it special exchange rate is offered to customers. One time registration of beneficiaries is required to be made at the branches to get the benefits under the scheme and thereafter money can be remitted anytime. Remittance can be made to any Bank's branch in India and is executed on real time basis. Very soon, this facility is going to be offered through the Bank's mobile banking also.
Baroda Premium Current Account is a special current account scheme for HNIs and Corporates, wherein interest as per term deposit interest rate is paid on balance beyond a threshold limit. Under the scheme, whenever any customer opens account with us for an amount beyond Dh100,000 or $50,000 is auto sweep to flexi term deposit earning FD rates. This amount is reversed automatically in case of need for clearing of cheques or transfers or cash payments. Account can be opened in Dirhams or Dollars and comes with lots of other benefits like free unlimited personalised cheque book, 50 per cent discount in remittance charges, concessional loans etc.
Bank is already offering retail loans like vehicle loans, salary loans, and mortgage loans to individuals, working capital finance, project finance and trade finance to companies. Its syndication centre is able to take care of financial requirement of any borrower be it a corporation, a large project or a sovereignty, such as a government.
Bank of Baroda has seven branches in the UAE at Bur Dubai, Deira, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Alain, Abu Dhabi and DIFC. It also has -10- Electronic banking service units and around 50 ATMs.
