4-day Eid holiday for public sector from January 31
ABU DHABI - Ministries and public institutions shall remain closed for four days, from Saturday, January 31, 2004 to Tuesday, February 3, 2004.
Work starts on February 4, according to a circular from the Ministry of State for Cabinet Affairs.
The ministry also congratulated the President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, on the occasion. The ministry prayed to Allah to grant them good health and to help them in their relentless efforts to further achieve progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.
It also congratulated the Arab and Islamic nations, particularly the UAE people, on the occasion, wishing them progress and prosperity. The Ministry of Information and Culture has also conveyed similar congratulatory messages to Shaikh Zayed and the Rulers of the emirates.
