The Tawasul Centre will receive complaints from the public and will also address enquiries.

Speaking to Khaleej Times, Mohamoud Osman Abu Al Shawarib, director of the Centre, said the body would receive enquiries, complaints and suggestions from the public via telephone, e-mail or fax and forward them to the relevant authorities. "A three-member committee will review the suggestions made by the public every week," he added.

Al Shawarib further informed that the daily and monthly reports on the number of complaints directed to the relevant authorities would be sent to the chairman of MPDA, Shaikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, to ensure that the respective sections are addressing the issues and handling the complaints of the public.

The MPDA and Tawasul will work together to immediately answer the queries of the public and solve any issues related to public safety and security, he added.

Abu Al Shawarib urged the people to call the toll free number 80026 for any complaints, enquires and suggestions, or send e-mail at altawasul@am.gov.ae or fax the Centre at the number 06-7441616.
