Widespread rigging in recent by-polls: NGO

ISLAMABAD — Widespread rigging was reported in the latest by-elections in Punjab and Sind, the Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) has said.

Election personnel and political workers were seen stamping empty ballot papers, the Non-Governmental Organisation, devoted to monitoring electoral process and parliamentary practice, said. By-elections were held on February 18 in PP-239 (Vehari-VIII) Punjab and PS-73 (Jamshoro-cum-Dadu) and PS-84 (Thatta-I) in Sind.
