The Duke of Edinburgh, who is recovering from a bladder infection, will host a conference and dinner for military colonels at Buckingham Palace on Friday night, the palace said.

Outspoken Philip was hospitalised on June 4, halfway through diamond jubilee celebrations marking his wife’s 60 years on the throne.
He was discharged from hospital on Saturday, a day before his 91st birthday, and is said to have spent the week convalescing at home.
A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman declined to comment specifically on Philip’s health but said: “The fact he’s attending engagements is an indication he is back to himself and able to carry out engagements.”
In his absence this week the queen was accompanied on a visit to Nottingham, central England, by her grandson Prince William and his wife Catherine.
Philip will join the queen in a horse-drawn carriage on Saturday for the Trooping the Colour ceremony.
The pair will appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the celebrations to take a salute during a flypast of Royal Air Force planes.
