Pakistan sends condolences on the death of UAE soldiers in Yemen
Sartaj Aziz, has sent his condolences on the deaths of the soldiers of the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kingdom of Bahrain in Yemen.

Islamabad - Pakistan has strongly condemned actions by Houthis to overthrow the legitimate government in Yemen led by President Hadi.

Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, has sent his condolences on the deaths of the soldiers of the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kingdom of Bahrain in Yemen.
In a statement issued today, the Office of the Spokesperson, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, said, "On behalf of the people and the Government of Pakistan, the Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, wishes to convey heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He also shares the grief of the brotherly peoples and Governments of the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kingdom of Bahrain over the attack on their soldiers."
Pakistan has strongly condemned actions by Houthis to overthrow the legitimate government in Yemen led by President Hadi.
"We fully support the political objectives of the coalition to restore unconditionally the legitimate government in Yemen and withdrawal of Houthis from the territories seized by them, including Sana'a," the spokesperson said.
"Pakistan firmly believes that peaceful settlement of the crisis in Yemen, in accordance with the United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2216, will significantly contribute to the efforts to promote peace and security in the region," the statement concluded.
