A 6-year-old boy, Jayavardhan, died after he accidentally fell into a vessel containing boiling sambar.
The incident took place at a primary school in Telangana when the boy was standing in a queue for the midday meal. He died of burn injuries.
NDTV quoted police as saying that during a minor scuffle between the students the victim was accidentally pushed into the vessel.
The boy was admitted to the hospital, but later he passed away.
The case is currently being investigated.
