What books are you reading?
Right now, I am reading How to Talk to Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere by Larry King, about the secrets of good communication and how to do so confidently and effectively in any situation. I'm enjoying the simple techniques it highlights to get messages across to your listeners.
A book that changed your life and shaped your outlook?
The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. This book brought happiness, assurance and confidence to my life that I can achieve and realise whatever I long for in life.
A book you think is underrated?
I would recommend The Leader Who Had No Title by Robin Sharma. It is not really underrated but not as widely known to everybody as it should be, if you ask me.
Memorable literary character?
Jackson Chan, from the aforementioned book: a former CEO and successful businessman, he followed his passion of gardening, and sees in it amazing rewards. His character really influenced me when I wrote my own book, Dare to be Happy: From Puzzlements to Eternal Happiness. I must admit that the idea of growing anything is wonderful. It is actually the most significant achievement in life - be it raising children, growing a business or growing plants. Whatever you grow, you nurture with patience - and it provides such an extraordinary sense of accomplishment.
Your favourite book quote.
"By cultivating a growth mindset, we are able to make significant boosts to our intelligence and talents. Hence, by changing the outermost layer, your mindset, you are creating a whole new version of yourself, ready for success and happiness" - Breakthrough by Anjali Aggarwal and Sindu Sreebhavan.
