What is your best childhood memory?
When I had no care in the world! My mind was open to creativity and learning, and I would sit and make clothes for my Sindy Dolls. My whole life revolved around dress-making for the dolls! I would pay so much attention to the colour of the fabric, the material, cut of the clothes and then carefully hand stitch it all together. I wish I could encourage more children to be creative as it has a pile-on effect later in life and, if I wasn't creative in my early years, then I doubt I would be creative now.
If you could move anywhere in the world for free, what place would that be?
I'm in Dubai every three to four months, working on my music and making vidoes. It would be incredible if I could just move here. I love the place because of its mix of cultures, and have seen how it has developed over the years. I'm proud to call Dubai home to my music. Its proximity to India and Pakistan are also ideal, especially for touring.
What is the one skill you'd love to learn, and why?
I would love to learn swimming. It's such a shame that I cannot swim and instead have to watch others having fun in the water. It's an amazing full body workout too. Perhaps this can be my goal for 2019.

What advice would you give your younger self, if you could?
I would tell myself that the only person I need to impress is myself. I'd also tell myself to be humble and polite - but not to let people who don't matter eat into the time I should be spending on my dreams.
If you could go back to any era in time or witness any major event in history, which one would it be, and why?
I would love to witness the independence of India and Pakistan because it is steeped in history. I have grandparents from India, parents from Africa and my musical work involves interacting with people from Pakistan and India. I feel we could learn a lot from that time and use it to work together to promote humanity and peace for our future generations.
Your greatest fear.
Tripping on stage during a performance!
If you could trade lives with one person for an entire day, who would it be and why?
Kim Kardashian. I want to learn how she manages such a hectic life so well and still manages to look so fresh all the time.
Favourite movie character of all time - and why.
Any role that Aamir Khan takes on is amazing. He injects life into the movie and I love that about him.
If you were President of your country, what is the first thing you'd do?
I would restrict/ ban social media usage simply to help people use their own head and eyes to explore life and to free up their time for creativity.
