Describe your work in a sentence.
I create joyful moments for my customers by offering them amazing mochi ice cream, wherever they are.
The biggest learning point or experience in your life.
Overcoming the fear of leaving a fixed corporate job and starting a business from scratch. I faced pressure from everyone around me. But looking back, I have no regrets!
What is your favourite thing about your job?
It's not a job. I feel lucky to be self-employed, to pursue my passion on my own terms. If anything, I hold myself to an even higher standard than before so it's more challenging but also more satisfying.
What advice would you give your younger self, if you could?
Enjoy every period of your life, and make the most of it. I used to rush through things and focus on the next milestone instead of enjoying the moment, at whatever age or stage I was at.
The number one item on your wish list.
To buy my own boutique hotel in one of Croatia's seaside towns. I could create a cosy atmosphere for guests, where they can have an outstanding experience and leave with life-long memories.
If you could move to any place in the world, what place would that be?
Croatia! I spent time there with my family as a child. The views, feelings and experiences have since been imprinted into my memory. Maybe you can't go back to how you felt as a child, but I certainly want to try!
Favourite fictional character of all time - and why.
Katsumoto from The Last Samurai. I love how he embodies honour, patriotism, tradition, loyalty, strength, courage and sacrifice - everything I believe in!
The best thing you've ever bought yourself and why?
Airline tickets - they say life is a collection of experiences. For a small amount, we get to see so many different places that inspire us and make us better people.
A superpower that you wish you had?
To be able to see what's in people's hearts and minds.

If you were head of your country, what is the first thing you'd do?
I would tell people how much I love my country. That would set the tone for the rest of my time in office, and form a strong foundation for the policies and actions that follow.
- As told to Janice Rodrigues
