Heavy rain has thrown life out of gear in several parts of Oman. Videos show how vehicles are stranded due to flash floods in Mussanah.

According to Oman's meteorology department, rain will continue in different parts of Oman over the next few days with temperatures dropping further.
Meteorologists said that a low depression is approaching the coastal areas, reports The Times of Oman.
"Muscat, Musandam, North and South Al Batinah and South Al Sharqiyah Governorates including Al Hajar Mountains will be affected by isolated rains with a possibility of thunderstorms and showers," the report stated.
Meanwhile in the UAE, rain is likely to continue until Tuesday, with heavy rains expected at times across the North and Northeast. As light rain drizzled across some of Dubai's busiest roads on Sunday afternoon including Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, a spokesperson for the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) told Khaleej Times that clouds (in layered form) will continue to cover most of the UAE over the next 48 hours.
Light showers are expected on the western parts of the country to the eastern parts and there will be a substantial drop in temperature. "Over the next 24 hours the maximum temperature will reach 20 degrees celsius and the minimum, 8 to 12 degrees Celcius." Motorists are urged to take extra precautions on the wet roads.
