An Arab woman allegedly threatened to burn her husband alive after a heated argument. The Fujairah Public Prosecution has referred the woman to the emirate's Criminal Court to stand trial on the charge of threatening to commit a crime.
The woman's husband, M.A., 29, lodged a complaint at the city police station, claiming his wife threatened to burn him alive "either as he slept or while in his car". The woman allegedly made the threat after a heated argument they had at their house. M.A. claimed he feared for his life.
On being summoned to the police station, the wife reportedly admitted to making the threat. However, before the public prosecution, she denied making the threat, but admitted to having an argument with her husband.
