Light to moderate rainfall has hit parts of UAE early on Sunday morning.
According to a tweet by National Center of Meteorology in UAE (NCM), the areas of Al Shawamekh in Abu Dhabi, Al Ruwais, Al Dalma Island, Ghiyati and Al Mirfa in Al Dharfa were hit by rain.

According to forecast, today will be cloudy with some convective cloud formations over the country's eastern and western areas.
Moderate winds may kick up dust and sand in some areas.
Moderate rainfall had also been experienced by residents in Khalifa City as well as over the Salaam Road in Abu Dhabi, in very early hours of Sunday morning (4:00am).
Weather forecast from Monday until Wednesday
Due to the increase of the flow of moist air from the Arabian Sea, the weather condition will deepen while clouds increase, as embedded with convective clouds over scattered areas, especially internal areas, Al Ain, and Eastern areas and extending at times over some coastal areas of the country, associated with rainfall of different intensities, with lightning and thunder at times, and the amount of clouds will decrease gradually from Thursday (May 23).
The winds, during this period, will be moderate, freshening in case of convective clouds, leading to rough sea and causing blowing dust and sands with poor horizontal visibility at times.
