UAE receives condolences for martyrs from world leaders

Abu Dhabi - Shaikh Khalifa received cables from leaders around the globe

The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received cables from President Beji Caid Essebsi of Tunisia, President Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua and General Peter Cosgrove, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, in which they extended condolences on the martyred Emirati diplomats who were killed in a terrorist attack in Afghanistan on 10th January.
The UAE diplomats were on a mission to carry out humanitarian, educational and developmental projects in the Republic of Afghanistan.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,   Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received cables of condolences from the President of Nicaragua and General Prayut Chan-o-cha, the Prime Minister of Thailand.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also received a similar cable from the president of Nicaragua.
