Residents in the UAE are waiting anxiously to view the solar eclipse taking place on Thursday, December 26. Viewing areas have been set up across the country to allow people to enjoy this phenomenon, visible in the country for the first time since 1847.
But where exactly in the country should you be to get the best chance to view the eclipse (not directly with the naked eye, of course)?
The UAE Space Agency on Wednesday shared a list of locations from where once can view the annular eclipse, as well as areas from where only a partial eclipse would be visible.
Residents in Umm Al Zumoul, Zayed City and Al Ruwais would be able to experience an annular eclipse, while the eclipse would be partial in the rest of the country, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
