A second Emirati youth succumbed to his injuries following a horrific car fire that took the life of his friend nearly two weeks ago in Sharjah.
The youth died on Thursday morning after a short struggle for his life. Funeral prayers were held today and his body was buried in Jurf area, Ajman.

Horrific fire

The incident took place at 1.45pm along Emirates road on January 11.
Five Emirati national service recruits had been speeding in a Toyota Camry heading towards Ajman. 
The car swerved and smashed into the concrete barrier on the side of the road at high speed, flipping over several times and bursting into flames.
One man's injuries were so severe police called for assistance from the Ministry of Interior's Air Wing division. He succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.   
The four other passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to Al Qasimi hospital to receive medical treatment.
