The Higher Committee for Human Fraternity (HCHF) on Monday launched its 2021 Zayed Award, with a global call for nominations.

For the 2021 award, nominations can be made by members of government, former heads of state, Supreme Court judges, UN leaders, leading academic and cultural figures, HCHF members, and heads of international non-government organisations.
An independent committee of experts appointed by the HCHF. will evaluate the nominations. The winner or winners will be announced on February 4, 2021.
Judge Mohamed Abdulsalam, secretary-general of the HCHF, said: "We are honoured to be the custodian of this initiative, which is testament to the commitment of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity to strengthen human relations, and build bridges of dialogue.
Adama Dieng, former UN special adviser on the prevention of genocide, and a member of the appointed committee added: "The judging committee will consider people or entities anywhere in the world who are leading by example by collaborating selflessly...to deliver real, positive change."
