Looking to rent a flat near Dubai Metro? Rents revealed

If you are a regular commuter on the Dubai Metro, the cheapest one-bedroom apartment you can hire for rent is near the Al Nahda and Stadium stations on the Green Line, says a graph released by Propertyfinder. One-bedrooms here cost only Dh52,000 annually to rent.
Properties with similar specifications near Al Qusais and Dubai Airport Free Zone stations also come cheap at Dh56,500 annual rents.
The statistics reveal that by opting to stay a few metres up or down a Metro station on both the lines can result in significant cost savings.
For instance, if you are working in Jebel Ali Free Zone, renting a one-bedroom apartment near Ibn Battuta station will cost you Dh69,000 annually. However, go further north and the rents escalate significantly.
A one-bedroom near Jumeirah Lakes Towers station is available for rent for Dh83,000 and a similar unit near the Damac (formerly Dubai Marina) station will set you back by Dh98,000 annually.

Going further south of Dubai will be lighter on your wallet as one-bedroom apartments near the UAE Exchange, Danube and Energy stations can be rented for Dh62,000 only.

If you have spare dirhams to spend as part of your disposable income, think no more. Consider living near the Nakheel, Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall or Financial Centre Metro stations as a 1-bedroom apartment in these areas cost around Dh115,000 per year for rent.
The most expensive one-bedroom apartment to rent near a Metro station on the Red Line is near the World Trade Centre at Dh130,000 annually.
The most expensive villas to rent near Dubai Metro stations are adjacent to the Airport Terminal 1 and 2 stations at Dh300,000 for a four-bedroom villa, according to Propertyfinder's map.
