His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, offered condolences following the demise of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait.

"May Allah forgive the kind father of Kuwait, the heart of the Gulf, the Emir of humanity, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. From God we come and to Him we return," Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said.


"Our sincere condolences go to the Al Sabah family and the people of Kuwait. Sheikh Sabah epitomised wisdom, tolerance, and peace and he was a great pioneer of Gulf cooperation. He served Kuwait with honor and grace, and his work will never be forgotten. May God have mercy on him," Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, also paid his respects.

"Peace, leadership, development, humanity, and the passion to make a better future for Kuwait and the region. His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, has passed away. We will miss the exceptionally great leader who left a heritage of giving and humanity. We pray to Allah to bless his soul, and grant people of Kuwait the strength to endure and persevere," Sheikh Hamdan said.
