Flash rainstorm lashed Masafi, Diftah in Ras Al Khaimah on Tuesday afternoon. The eastern and southern parts of the UAE will witness showers on Wednesday as formation of clouds increases despite zooming mercury, the weathermen said.
The humidity is expected to go up following the flash rainstorms. The heat will make you sweat and therefore, it is important to keep yourself hydrated.

The Met department points out temperatures are expected to be in the normal range with highs of 49 degrees Celsius inland, in the mid-40s along the coast and up to 39 degrees Celsius in the eastern areas of the Al Hajar mountain range.
There is no likelihood of any respite from the hot weather, with the humus mounting in most places.
"Chance of convective cloud formation may be associated with rainfall and fresh winds, causing blowing dust and sand with poor visibility over eastern and southern areas," said the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
Winds will increase the haze in the coastal and some internal parts of the country, accompanied by the humidity.
Despite the occasional rains and showers, the summer heat won't abate in the coming weeks.
Besides Wednesday, sporadic rainfall is also predicted for Thursday.
