The defeats are a jolt to a full-strength Pakistan side in their preparations for the Twenty20 World Cup
Maj-Gen Al Obaidly said that the services would be available in three stations - Al Qusais, Al Barsha and Ports Police Station.
Manual services will be stopped at Naif and Al Muraqqabat police stations from January 2, 2020. From January 15, Al Rafaa police station will stop providing these services while it would be stopped at the Jebel Ali police station on February 1, Al Rashidiya police station on February 15 and Bur Dubai Police Station on March 1.
In a long-term target, the Dubai Police aim at reducing the number of people visiting their centres for a service to zero, added Maj-Gen Al Obaidly. "However, those who visit the centres for the above mentioned services will be given proper guidance to make use of our smart channels including the Smart Police Stations." He added that customers can also avail of these services by dialling the non-emergency number 901.
"In addition to these, the services will be available at the drive-thru centres that provide services to motorists and the walk-in counters in the malls and tourist areas. People can also approach the three police stations that provide the services," said Maj-Gen Al Obaidly.
