The Dubai Metro has resumed to normal service after two technical glitches affected its operation on Thursday evening.
"RTA announces that Dubai Metro is operating normally now. We thank all metro users for their cooperation," the Roads and Transport Authority tweeted.
Earlier the Emirates Towers Metro station was hit by a technical glitch an hour after resolving a malfunction that affected several stations.
"Dubai Metro services in Emirates Towers Station has been affected on the red line. Alternate bus service has been deployed between Jafiliya and Business Bay stations," the RTA tweeted.

Metro passengers reported they were stuck at the various Metro stations for almost one hour on Thursday night.
Khaleej Times readers sent several photos of commuters stranded at the Mall of the Emirates station. One reader said the Metro doors have been open for almost half an hour and trains were not moving.
Some passengers shared that announcements were made that shuttle buses were being deployed to transport the stranded commuters.
The RTA posted on Twitter that the technical malfunction has been resolved and the affected metro stations were operating normally before a malfunction affected the Emirates Towers Metro Station.
