An Emirati citizen has donated half of his salary to the UAE government's 'Together We Are Good' programme.
Saeed Fadel Al Mazroui made the contribution in support of the country's many initiatives to support residents affected by the current pandemic.
'Together We Are Good' was set up to give the community a chance to support the Abu Dhabi Government's efforts to address current health and economic challenges arising from the spread of Covid-19.

Launched by the Authority for Social Contribution - Ma'an, the programme aims to bring the community together by opening the door for financial and in-kind contributions from individuals and organisations looking to offer a helping hand to all members of the society.
At the time of the launch, Salama Al Ameemi, director general of Ma'an, urged one and all to contribute, saying, "This is the time for our community to show the strength of our solidarity and unity."
Last week, a new toll-free helpline (800-3088) and a specially created microsite (togetherwearegood.ae) were also launched to this end.
Areas of relief that beneficiaries can expect assistance in are education, health, food supplies, as well as other basic needs.
