Al Sharaka schools open to expatriates
ABU DHABI — The Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) has decided to allow admission of expatriate students to schools under the partnership programme, Al Sharaka Schools, from the next academic year 2007-2008. A decision will soon be taken on tuition fees.
At the meeting chaired by Adec member Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, the decision was taken keeping in mind the increase in the number of partnership schools to 58 from 30.
Adec Director-General Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi said the registration formalities would depend on the number of seats vacant in the schools.
The seat limit for each class is 18 for KG1, 20 for KG2, and 20 for Grades I to III. Four grades IV to XII the seat limit is 25 for each class.
