The Ajman Police introduced 20 patrol motorbikes equipped with advanced technology to ensure safety on roads and security in residential areas.
Major-General Sheikh Sultan Al Nuiami, Commander-in-Chief of the Ajman Police, said that the addition of 20 advanced patrol motorbikes came with the generous support of the Ministry of Interior, which is keen to keep track of the latest international standards and techniques in its efforts to support and develop the capacity of the Ajman Traffic Police.
He thanked the generous support provided by Lt-Gen Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to the Ajman Police, for various traffic, security and criminal sectors. 
Major Fouad Al Khaja, director of the traffic and patrol department, said that these bikes are lightweight and will help improving the traffic movement in various parts of the emirate during peak hours.
"It will also contribute in ensuring security and safety for residents in the emirate. These bikes are equipped with fire extinguishers and high-quality alarm flashes that show the bike more easily and on a wider scale to the public."
