The Abu Dhabi City Municipality has completed maintenance work of the UAE capital city’s central bus station at a cost of Dh3.9 million.
The work consisted of maintenance of asphalt and curbstones and is aimed at preserving infrastructure assets. The civic body seeks to achieve the best public safety standards for users of the facility, and the city's spick and span look and feel.
The Infrastructure and Municipal Assets Sector of the municipality was entrusted with the responsibility to conduct the maintenance work.
The central bus station, which is located near the Grand Millennium Hotel and Al Wahda Mall, offers public transport facility to and from Abu Dhabi. Public buses, minibuses and taxis for the capital city, within the emirate or other emirates are available from the central bus station.
