DSS is back!
Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) returns this Friday, making Dubai the ultimate destination to make memories this summer. The festival will run from June 21 until August 3, and the six-weeks of sales will kickstart with a 12-hour flash sale across Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me'aisem, City Centre Al Barsha and City Centre Al Shindagh.
Modhesh World!
The 20th edition of Modhesh World begins on Saturday and we are excited! Get ready to paint summer yellow and blue. Modhesh is bringing back his pop-up land of games and rides this summer for eight weeks to Dubai World Trade Centre. The family-centric event is filled with colourful characters, lively children's entertainers and shows for the whole family!
Diversity in music
Diverse Performing Arts School is presenting its 10th anniversary show - 'A Decade of Diverse' on Friday at 2pm at Dubai Opera. The show will encompass showbiz history of the last 10 years, divided into 'then' and 'now', paying tribute to the last decade in the history of diverse performing arts. From Hairspray and Les Miserables to Beyonce and Adele's hit numbers, get ready for one hell of a musical day.

Who doesn't need a fix of laughter and merriment? The folks in Abu Dhabi will be served up an array of talent, laughs and giggles, as The Big Fish Comedy Show rolls into town today. Starting at 7pm witness the quick wit of Conor Drum, Keith Farnan and Sonja Jayne Salmon.

Art exhibition
Back to Basics is a collection of intricately detailed sketches, scenic landscapes and alluring portraits. This solo exhibition by Sadaqat Pervaiz will showcase around 40 incredible artworks; it opens on Saturday at 7pm at Gallery 76 in Dubai International Art Centre. Till June 29.
