Vehicle testing, insurance services on Fridays
The Licensing Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched vehicles’ technical testing and insurance services on Fridays.
Mohammed Abdul Karim Nimaat, Director of Vehicles Licensing Services, said: “Vehicles testing and insurance services on Fridays only, not transaction processing, have been launched to meet the needs of a huge chunk of the public who have asked for the provision of these two services during official holidays.
“No doubt the provision of these two services on Fridays will effectively contribute to serving the prime objective of attaining customer satisfaction in the first place, besides saving the time and efforts of all parties, be it customers or officials through easing the workload during week days.”
Locations offering vehicle testing and insurance services on Fridays will be rotated monthly among service providers (Tasjeel, Shamil, Tamam Al-Ghandi, Al-Shirawi, Cars, and Al-Mumayaz). The customer has to contact the RTA’s Call Centre (8009090), and enquire about the provider who is providing the service during the month.
