UAE traffic: Accidents in Abu Dhabi, delays across Dubai and Sharjah

Dubai - Motorists are warned to take extra caution while driving.

Heavy traffic has been reported on the UAE's roads on Wednesday morning, with several accidents causing congestion in Abu Dhabi.
In the capital, the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport took to Twitter to report an accident on E30 (Mussafah Road) before exit to Khaleej Al Arabi Street towards Abu Dhabi. The incident caused heavy delays and snarls, which was cleared at 7.37am.

Another accident was reported at 7:40am on E30 Street towards Arabian Gulf Street.  The department asked motorists to exercise caution.
Motorists in Dubai are facing huge tailbacks in every direction this morning.
An accident on the highway of Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Road near Industrial Area 15 heading from Sharjah to Dubai, causing heavy traffic delays, according to Google Maps.
 
Expect delays on Ras Al Khor road, Al Awir road and heavy traffic on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed road towards Dubai.

Huge tailbacks were observe on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from the National Paints roundabout in Sharjah to Dubai.  Slow-moving traffic was observed on Sheikh Zayed Road's E11 - from Al Nahda street towards Dubai.

Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternative routes wherever possible.
