RTA launches ten new bus routes
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has inaugurated nine new internal bus routes in Dubai and one inter-city shuttle service between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Eisa Abdul Rahman Al Dosari, CEO of the RTA’s Public Transport Agency, said the new services will boost the bus transit network and keep up with the rising demand for mass transit, public buses in particular. He said: “The new routes will start off trips from various stations within Dubai emirate, and the tenth route will be kicked off from Ibn Battuta Metro Station in Dubai and heads towards Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station and vice versa.”
