The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) in Sharjah, in coordination with the Sharjah Police, will close King Faisal Road section between Industrial Area 1 and 4, and will start repair works on Friday afternoon.
Officials at the DPW have called on motorists to take precautionary measures and comply with the traffic detours and speed limit until the maintenance work is completed.
“Motorists will be diverted to Industrial Area 1 but the detour is not long as only 140 metres of the road will be closed,” assured a DPW official.
Motorists are encouraged to provide any suggestions and complaints to the DPW on toll-free number 800-86767 during the partial road closure.
