Sharjah Police have, in a video message, warned motorists to follow all traffic rules while on the road, especially those relating to lane discipline.

The police shared a video on their official Twitter account, which showed an SUV changing lanes from a non-designated spot. The lane change violation was detected by a camera, and a fine of Dh400 was issued.

"Article No. 86 of the Executive Regulations of Traffic Law imposes a fine of Dh400 for this violation. Such violations endanger the safety of the others on the road," the police noted.
