Fujairah Police gear up to meet school rush in new academic year

Fujairah - The police will maintain traffic flow and dissolve any congestion when school buses start plying with the reopening of schools.

The Fujairah Police is all set for the forthcoming academic year 2015-2016 with its field comprehensive plans in place for traffic patrols to secure roads, especially in front of schools. It will maintain traffic flow and dissolve any congestion when school buses start plying with the reopening of schools shortly.
Colonel Humaid Mohammad Al Yamahi, Director-General of the Police Operations, during a meeting held on the premises of Fujairah Traffic and Patrols, stressed on the preparedness of the patrol cars to monitor roads in preparation for the new scholastic year. The meeting was also attended by Colonel Dr Ali Rashid Al Yamahi, Director of the Department of Traffic and Patrols, and heads of sections and branches,
Col Humaid Al Yamahi said 16 patrol cars, in addition to police patrols, will be deployed on roads, particularly in school areas, to secure roads and maintain students' safety.
