Additional 42 services will operate to Jeddah from July 5 to August 16. Extra 17 flights will operate to Madinah from July 16 to 31.

The extra flights can be accessed by travellers holding a valid Umrah visa. Those wishing to travel to Saudi Arabia for reasons other than Umrah can fly on any of Emirates’ regular, scheduled flights operating from Dubai to Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah.

The additional flights to Jeddah leave Dubai at 10.25am and 9pm on varying days during the five-week period.

“Umrah is a unique spiritual experience for Muslims, and Emirates is glad to be able to facilitate travel arrangements for pilgrims during their special journey, through our award winning services in the air and on the ground, said Shaikh Majid Al Mualla, Emirates’ Senior Vice-President, Commercial Operations, Gulf, Middle East & Iran. “Emirates would like to thank the government and authorities in Saudi Arabia for granting us permission to introduce extra frequencies for Umrah pilgrims.”
