Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone (ADAFZ) is the UAE's gateway to a future free zone aerotropolis, making Abu Dhabi a thriving destination of choice for local and international businesses. In the six years of its existence, ADAFZ has attracted 224 businesses from over 38 countries and sponsored more than 2250 employment visas, proving its popularity and reinforcing Abu Dhabi as a significant strategic hub that provides access to a quarter of the world's population.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Airports, ADAFZ operates free zones at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain International Airport and Al Bateen Executive Airport and also comprises of a Logistics Park, Business Park and Business Centre providing One Stop Shop Services. ADAFZ caters to a broad spectrum of business sectors including aviation, aerospace, technology and ICT, pharmaceuticals, cold storage, logistics, e-commerce, consultancy, light manufacturing, trading, and many others.
Within the free zone environment, ADAFZ offers its customers the full spectrum of free zone services, including company registration, licensing, leasing, rapid visa processing for employees, among several others. Entrepreneurs enjoy benefits including 100 per cent foreign ownership, 0% corporate tax, zero per cent personal income tax, zero per cent import or re-export duties, no restrictions on capital repatriation and no currency restrictions, as well as a full range of business activities licences. Additionally, licensed companies operating at ADAFZ are offered dual licences allowing for operation outside the free zone and therefore, having an opportunity to participate in government tenders.
The wide range of facilities and infrastructure include warehousing units, commercial offices, and furnished facilities within a fully serviced business center, plots of land for development and a full range of essential ancillary amenities to serve day to day business needs. With all this comes the access and opportunity to collaborate with new suppliers, trade partners and logistics providers.
