Deepika shared a beautiful glimpse of a surprise she received from the film team
The Serb, who overcame Andy Murray in the final in Melbourne, has pointed to the Dubai tournament as one of his favourites and visited the city recently in preparation for his exploits Down Under.
“I’m really looking forward to going back to Dubai again. I recently spent about 10 days there for preparation and rest,” said Djokovic. “I like the climate there and just like being there. It’s a fun city and there are a lot of things to do … It’s one of my favourite tournaments and I’m looking forward to having some more fun in 2011,” he added.
“With such an incredible line-up of the world’s top tennis stars on display, the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is always an event that the Dubai public looks forward to every year. It will be wonderful to welcome back Novak Djokovic who proved in Melbourne that he is in sensational form at the moment. Dubai spectators are in for a real treat,” said Colm McLoughlin, managing director of tournament owners and organisers Dubai Duty Free.
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships have proved as popular as always, with tickets for the only WTA Premier 5 and ATP 500 tour events in the Middle East in high demand.
Good news for fans that want to see the likes of Djokovic, four-time champion and former World No 1 Roger Federer, former world number one’s Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova in action is that there are still tickets available for 10 days of the 13-day tournament.
“The good news is that there are still tickets available for both the men’s and women’s tournament,” said tournament director Salah Tahlak. “The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships never fails to serve up a feast of action and entertainment, and 2011 promises to be no different,” he added.
