Facebook-owned photo messaging app Instagram is down.
According to DownDetector, the social media app has encountered issue since 9:29 AM EDT (5:29pm in Dubai). Users report having unresponsive feeds and being unable to view Instagram Stories. Some users also say that they are unable to log on to the app. 
A live outage map on DownDetector shows that users in the Americas, United Kingdom, and Malaysia were the most affected by the downtime.
This is the second time this week that Instagram had an outage.

Earlier, the app was hit by an outage past 10am on Tuesday. It affected users in US, UK and Europe. Facebook and its family of apps, including Instagram and WhatsApp, have collectively suffered five major outages in the last four months. Out of all the Facebook's apps, Instagram has experienced downtime the most.
