Sharp has created a new-age retail experience that features the brand’s latest information display technology, perfectly suited for a variety of shopping destinations.
The PN-R903 – 90” Class LED Monitor display, folded PN-R603 display and ‘See Me’ (Mirror Display) also highlight Sharp’s ability to create real-life applications that enable retailers to waste no space in their stores.
Designed specifically to display information on a mirror surface, the ‘See Me’ display can save space and conceal electronics across a variety of locations, including both stores and living spaces. The mirror can be used to display information that disappears once the viewer stands directly in front of the polarised screen.
The 90” Class LED Monitor display shows off its capability to develop unique software applications that capture the future of the shopping experience.
Specifically designed as a retail window display, the folded PN-R603 installation shows the adaptability of the display panels, as they are used to create a more engaging feature within the retail space, beyond a flat panel display wall.
The gesture-controlled interactive wall display is being displayed across a 3x3 configuration of the new ‘Slim Bezel Signage Monitors,’ creating a large 180” panel display wall. Beyond Sharp’s interactive multi-touch display walls, this gesture technology takes display interaction to new levels, as it offers dynamic features that enable interactive and intelligent applications. Users can interact and control a variety of applications across the panels which run on advanced software solutions. The software applications are purpose built and can be customized to suit the requirements of business users across multiple industry segments.
“Due to strong growth in our corporate and education business pillars, as well as an elevated demand for our interactive display panels within the retail sector, we have utilized this prestigious event as the perfect opportunity to showcase Sharp’s latest technology. Specifically, the gesture controlled interactive display technology confirms Sharp’s on-going commitment to be the first to launch original and ground-breaking technology within the Middle East,” said Tomoo Shimizu, Director, Business Solutions Division, Sharp Middle East and Africa.
