DUBAI - The number of registered subscribers to the personal pages of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has crossed one million as of Wednesday.
There are now 494,386 followers on Shaikh Mohammed’s Facebook page and 517,042 on his Twitter page. A wide range of nationalities represented the subscriber base with almost half of them Arab, the rest are from Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia, especially from
India and Japan.
Internet users are keen on acquainting themselves more with Shaikh Mohammed and Dubai’s achievements under his leadership that has seen the emirate become a global business and tourism hub in a short period of time.
Burj Khalifa, Dubai Metro and Meydan are only a few of the milestone projects launched in Dubai during Shaikh Mohammed’s reign.
