The new season will begin at the Al Ain Racecourse on October 29, the ERA announced.
This session will witness 66 race days being staged across the five racecourses - Al Ain Racecourse, the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, the historic Jebel Ali Racecourse, Sharjah Racecourse and the iconic Meydan Racecourse - in the country.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, Minister of Presidential Affairs, who is also the Chairman of the Emirates Racing Authority (ERA) approved the fixture list for the season.
"We are pleased to announce the ERA Race Fixture for the racing season 2020-21, which will provide the owners, trainers and fans an integrated season on the UAE 5 racecourses," Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan said in a statement.
"Through this fixture, we offer local and international races for the Thoroughbred and Arabian horses," Sheikh Mansour added.
The season will start and end at the Al Ain Racecourse, with the final race meeting of the season to be held on April 9. 2021.
The Meydan Racecourse in Dubai will host 19 race meetings in total with nine regular race weekends, nine Dubai World Cup Carnival race weekends and quite obviously the landmark 25th renewal of the Dubai World Cup, which was postponed last season because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Dubai World Cup Carnival will begin on January 7, 2021 with Super Saturday, the dress rehearsal for the Dubai World Cup taking place on March 6, 2021.
The $35 million Dubai World Cup will be staged in its traditional slot of the last Saturday of March which is 27.
Action at Meydan will begin on November 5.
Abu Dhabi will host 15, Al Ain 14, Jebel Ali 11 and Sharjah 7.
