Bahrain beat Saudi Arabia to lift first Gulf Cup trophy

Mohamed Al Rohaimi scored the only goal of the game in the 69th minute for Bahrain.

Bahrain clinched the Gulf Cup title for the first time with a 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia in the final played in Doha on Sunday.
Salman Al Faraj missed the chance to give three-time champions Saudi Arabia the lead in the 12th minute but the midfielder failed to convert the penalty spot.
Mohamed Al Rohaimi scored the only goal of the game in the 69th minute for Bahrain.
Bahrain were lucky in their fifth attempt to lift the trophy as they have lost four finals in the past.
