Fact check: China will not kill 20,000 coronavirus patients

The claim comes from a dubious website with a history of spreading false information.

A post is making rounds on social media claiming that China has sought permission from its highest court in order to kill 20,000 coronavirus patients.
The claim, which came from dubious website ab-tc.com says that China's highest court is expected to make a decision on the matter. The headline of the story says that the it was in order to prevent the spread of the virus. The article went on to claim that "Supreme People's Court is expected to give an approval on Friday for the mass killing of coronavirus patients in China as sure means of controlling the spread of the deadly virus".
According to fact-checking website Snopes, the story from ab-tc.com is false. According to Snopes, the website has been found - on numerous occasions to be spreading false information regarding 'cannibal restaurants, celebrity death hoaxes, doctored tweets from US President Trump and a story that claimed that UK's Prince Andrew has commited suicide.
"There is also no mention of this supposed court case on the The Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China website," Snopes found.
