8 killed, 1 injured in car accident in Kuwait

Kuwait - Fire brigades and ambulances rushed to the scene to rescue the victims.

Eight people were killed and one person was in critical condition after a car crashed in the Kuwaiti area of Kabd on Monday, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate said in a statement.
The accident took place when a speeding car struck a crowd gathered around a previous accident scene which involved a minor multiple vehicle collision, leading to a deadly car pileup, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
