A resident in Ajman was thankful for receiving a mobile phone that she had lost eight months ago.
It was the Sharjah Police who retrieved the mobile phone and returned it to the woman, the police reported on Thursday.
On it’s official Facebook page, Sharjah Police said that they had found the phone eight months ago, but had to go through a series of processes to be able to identify the owner.
The police then contacted the woman several times to collect the phone, but she was not unable to do it as she was living in Ajman and had some personal issues. The Sharjah Police then took the initiative to deliver the phone to her home in Ajman.
Sharjah Police coordinated with Ajman Police and delivered the phone to the woman, who thanked the authorities for their efforts in serving members of the community.
