Video: UAE dust storm alert issued for most parts of the country
Authorities have urged residents to be aware and cautious while taking part in outdoor activities.
The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology has issued a dust storm alert from 4am to 7pm over most parts of the country on Saturday.
In its latest update for Saturday, it issued a ‘yellow alert’, which advises residents to be aware if they take part in any outdoor activities.
Certain areas have also been issued an ‘orange alert’, which warns residents about hazardous weather events.
The NCM also posted videos of a severe dust storm taking over a road in Khor Fakkan.
