Fog and mist engulfed several parts of the country on Thursday morning according to tweets by the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
Some of the areas affected by mists were Abu Dhabi International Airport, Sharjah Airport and Al Bateen Airport. Al Minhad in Dubai was also affected. On the other hand, fog engulfed parts of Umm Al Quwain, Ajman and Sharjah.

The forecast for today is fair weather in general during daytime while being partly cloudy during the afternoon mainly over the eastern mountains and adjacent areas, the NCMS said. Some clouds may become convective and might be associated with rainfall.
The relative humidity will increase during night and on Friday morning over some coastal and internal areas.

Over the weekend, it will be humid during the night and in the morning with fog expected to form over scattered areas. Blowing dust, especially westward may be associated with a slight fall in temperatures.
